EARLY FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH: PRAYER GUIDE 2026

 

EFBC Ministries

  • For our ministry staff and their families: Larry, Wesley, Ima, Barbara, Noble, Amanda

  • That our worship will bring honor and glory to God, and that through our worship, others in Early will come to know him

  • For our church to elevate God’s word and grow in discipleship this year

  • Over our resources and ask God to make us generous and open-handed with our time, energy, and finances

  • That we will see the spiritual need in our community and be bold in our outreach and witness

  • For growth in relationships within Sunday school classes, women’s and men’s ministry, worshipministry, JOY, card ministry, fellowships, and service activities

  • For the missionaries and mission endeavors we support

  • For healing and comfort for those in our church battling illness or loss

EFBC Children’s Ministry

  • For growth of new families with nursery and elementary-aged children

  • That children’s hearts will be open to God’s word and his love for them

  • The current renovation of the children’s department to be inviting, functional, secure, and cost-effective.

  • Children’s ministry leaders: Barbara and Kevin Lewis, Amanda and Scott Robey

    • Thank God for their commitment to see our children grow in the Lord and his word.

    • Pray for God to magnify their time, guide their planning and preparation, speak throughthem as they teach, fill them with joy for his work, sustain their energy and devotion

  • Children’s ministry volunteers: Brenda, Betty, Lisa, Shawn, Mallory, Sheryl, Rhonda, Donna, Sadee, Dana, Vikki, Jeannette, Ann, Vaughn, Marcie, Pat, Cindy, Pam H., Pam S., Renea

    • Thank God for the time and effort they give

    • Pray that he will fill them with joy and excitement to serve him.

EFBC Youth Ministry

  • For students to develop a strong faith foundation now that they will carry into adulthood

  • That their commitment to the Lord will impact their families and draw them to God and church

  • For 2026 to be a year of deep discipleship and spiritual growth within this group; that they will seekways to serve and lead others to the Lord

  • That God will add new students and bring students back who were once active; for students’interest and excitement in church to continue and grow even greater this year

  • For continued unity and Christlikeness to develop; that division and discouragement will not tear down what God is doing in this group

  • Middle school leaders: Tammi, Patrick, Dennis, and Tony

  • High school leaders: Noble, Wesley, Sadee, Micah, and Megan

    • Thank God for their love and commitment to our high school students

    • Pray for God to speak through them as they teach, fill them with joy for his work, sustain their energy and devotion, and guide them as they help students grow spiritually

 

EFBC Looking Ahead—Future Church Ministries and Missions

  • Ask God to provide leaders and members for a new young adult Sunday school class and acollege/career aged class

  • Ask that God increase our membership in all ages of the church and increase all members’commitment and spiritual growth

  • Pray for 2026 renovations and building projects

  • Ask God to provide abundantly for 2026 financial needs

  • Pray for 2026 mission teams: Germany, Wisconsin, and Youth Mission Trip

    • Team members who will participate

    • Financial provision

    • Open hearts for both team members and those we will serve

  • Ask God for maximum impact for 2026 community missions: EFBC Food Pantry, Good Samaritan, HOT Baptist Encampment, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, FCA, Prison Ministry, Aldersgate and Care Facility Ministries, Community Meals, First Blessing

 

Early Community

  • For all churches in our community to be light in the darkness and work together to see his kingdomcome in Early

  • For our leaders as they seek the Lord; that he will guide their decisions and desires

  • For families and individuals struggling with financial resources, food security, safe housing, andunemployment

  • For those struggling with physical or mental health issues; for God to heal and sustain them

  • For children living in situations of abuse, neglect, or negative influences; for adults to see andintervene; for God to transform these households

  • For community ministries to have abundant resources this year to meet needs

  • For our first responders: their safety, protection, and support as they care for us
